Home / Why Sargha
Alongside your stack.
You already run EDR, cloud security and a network edge. Sargha does not replace them, and they do not replace it. Here is where each one stops and what Sargha adds.
Where each tool stops
Four kinds of tool you already have.
Categories, not a scorecard. Where a product is named, it is an example of the category, not a statement about its features. Products change, so check each vendor’s own documentation.
| Kind of tool | What it is built for | Where AI falls outside it | What Sargha adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Endpoint detection and response for example CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint | Malware, intrusion and process behaviour on managed endpoints. | An AI assistant, a local model, an MCP server or an API key in a .env file is not malware, so finding and ranking them is usually not what these tools are built for. | An inventory of AI tools, agents, MCP servers and keys on the machine, and what each can reach. It reads your EDR to show which machines running AI have no EDR coverage. |
| Cloud security posture and workload protection for example Wiz, Microsoft Defender for Cloud | Misconfigurations, vulnerabilities and attack paths across cloud accounts and workloads. | What an AI agent on a laptop or a build runner can reach, and which cloud identity an exposed key unlocks. | The link from a key found on a machine to the cloud identity it belongs to (matched by identifier, the key is never used), and the path to the data that identity can reach. |
| Secure web gateway, DNS filtering and CASB the controls at your network edge | Blocking and inspecting traffic that crosses the edge, for domains someone has listed. | A laptop on home Wi-Fi, a local model, a key in a file, an AI feature inside an approved SaaS app. | What exists, so you know what to list. Your blocked list can be exported as rule files for your DNS, proxy or firewall, so the edge gets sharper. |
| Identity and secrets tools for example your identity provider and secret scanners | Who signs in, and secrets committed to code. | Which AI agents act with those identities, and which credentials sit on endpoints. | Agents, MCP servers and keys treated as principals with an owner, a lifecycle and a recorded decision. |
Honest limits
What Sargha is not.
Not an EDR
It does not detect malware or stop intrusions. It finds and governs AI, and works with the tool that does.
Not a full cloud security platform
It covers the AI services and identities in your cloud accounts, read-only by default, not every misconfiguration.
Not a SIEM or a DLP suite
It sends its findings to your SIEM and ticketing, and inspects content only if you turn that on.
